A decade of BigLaw litigation, now practiced at a firm where every client works directly with him.
Zachary Kravat leads the firm's commercial litigation practice, representing businesses and their owners in partnership and shareholder disputes, breach of contract and fiduciary duty claims, fraud, and business torts — from the first demand letter through trial.
Prior to forming Kravat & Rose, he spent a decade as a litigator at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, two of the country's premier law firms, representing clients ranging from entrepreneurs to the world's largest companies in bet-the-company disputes. He was responsible for preparing Google's most senior Search and Ads executives for their testimony in the Department of Justice's antitrust trial, and helped secure full jury acquittals in multi-week federal fraud trials, including United States v. Bakry (E.D.N.Y.) and United States v. Nordlicht (E.D.N.Y.).
At Kravat & Rose, clients get that preparation with direct access to the lawyer running their case: straight answers, clear strategy, and a focus on the outcome that serves them. Having litigated for plaintiffs and defendants alike, Zachary knows how the other side builds its case, and prepares his clients' matters accordingly. He also counsels businesses on formation, governance, and commercial contracts.

Zak treated our case — which involved relatively modest monetary stakes — with the same level of professionalism, dedication, and attention to detail that he would give any high-profile matter. He took the time to walk us through every step, ensuring we understood our options and what to expect.
